Understanding the need to write is like finally finding your authentic self and letting it free...
Always with a journal Danell has been a writer since a very young age, it only seems natural to blend her love of words and culture. You can see her other writing pursuits (DanellLynn) and of course you can expect blogging and books to come of the adventures ahead. Igniting the flames for future adventurers and philanthropists, bridging the gaps through cultural exploration, art, 2-wheels, and just the smile from ear to ear that accompanies adventure!
Philanthropic Wanderlust -written and illustrated by Danell Lynn
Published currently as an ARC (advance reader copy) full publication August 2013
This book
chronicles the magnificence of travel, the need to explore and understand
cultural diversity. It encompasses the
burning desire of one woman, for compassion fueled by wanderlust and a giving
spirit.
After being heartbroken, and let down by 501c3’s Danell Lynn decided she would make it happen, her way. She launched Threading Hope and Highwire to teach art to children in developing countries and provide, donated-handmade, quilts to families and children in need.
Take on the ultimate adventure…the adventure of living. Find laughter and fear chronicled in Philanthropic Wanderlust, from muggings in San Salvador, bodies piling up in Guatemala, to quieting your breath weaving in a hammock, under the full moon, after diving Lake Malawi. Get to know artists in the mountains of Haiti, but try not to breathe in the cloud of hash that surrounds you, learn what makes dog and bird droppings lucky in Colombia.
“I have always had a passion for travel and feel at home on the road, I see the purest me in the faces of strangers and continually grow from the lessons they teach me.”
