Let the Journey begin...
America by scenic route and off road adventuring trails...

The first adventure in this multi-series ride is throughout the entire USA (Canada, and possibly...why not add Greenland) by motorbike through scenic routes and backroads trails, camping in the national forests as often as possible and understanding my homeland from it's elemental perspective. I am approximating this to take me anywhere from 10 to 14 months, depending on the dual-sport adventure roads!
The second adventure planned is to continue from the USA and head south hitting Central and Southern America. During my travels throughout the US-for adventure 1, I will be increasing my current conversational Spanish in preparation for this next adventure.
The goal of this departure for adventure ...will begin 24 months from August 2012, I will hit the road on Aug. 28th, my 33rd birthday. Why 24 months away - one to create finances that will lend to life on the road for a year or more, and two 3 is my favorite number...what better day to start such an adventure than on my double 3's! I will continue to have mini-adventures before my full on overland adventure!

- Kicking off trip--June 2012 - motorbike - streetbike ride from Arizona to Colorado
- 16-17 day Arizona Trail - mountain bike and hiking trek from the Northern Border of Arizona to the Southern AZ - Mexico border, this is a non-motorized trek that is approx. 817 miles long!
- - possible motorbike trip to Mexico, stacked down with quilts for an orphanage - Threading Hope, and art kits for the children - Highwire
